Window display + Accessories for Louis Vuitton

In 2008 Louis Vuitton was planning to decorate its flagship stores worldwide on the theme of Diwali - the Indian festival of lights. We designed window displays and lifestyle accessories based on their monogram.

Window display

The window display features a back-lit Lotus flower that is connected to motors that make its petals move gently, the flower reacting to the movement of passersby. Representing Diwali - the festival of lights - the Diyas (oil lamps) are floating in a pool of water, and swaying gently on thin stalks rising out of the water, to create a beautiful, meditative atmosphere.

LV and the Indian connection

The Diyas (oil lamps) were fabricated in copper and marble, with forms derived  from the Louis Vuitton monogram.

Lifestyle accessories

We designed the Diyas to be used in the window displays and also for sale as lifestyle accessories.
