Window display + Accessories for Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton was planning to decorate its flagship stores worldwide on the theme of Diwali - the Indian festival of lights. We designed window displays and lifestyle accessories based on their monogram.
The window display features a back-lit Lotus flower that is connected to motors that make its petals move gently. The flower reacts to the movement of passersby. The Diyas (oil lamps) are floating in a pool of water, and swaying gently on thin stalks rising out of the water, to create a beautiful, meditative atmosphere.
LV and the Indian connection
The Diyas (oil lamps) were made in copper and marble, with forms derived from the Louis Vuitton monogram.
We designed the Diyas to be used in the window displays and also for sale as lifestyle accessories.
